Day 5: Visit to Albanifriedhof Cemetery
Salutations from Germany. The sky was gray with a little bit precipitation this morning which made the walk to the cemetery more enjoyable for me. Along the way we saw parts of the to scale model solar system in town as well as some stone statues of some animals.
Not too long after seeing that delightful Toucan statue, we arrived at Gauss's grave. To my dismay his grave was not in the shape of a Gaussian distribution. We rectified this egregious error by creating a Gaussian of those who chose to join in on this optional venture.
After this, everyone got lunch, we had our DEI discussion from 2-4 about the underrepresentation of women in STEM. Not long after this many went out to get burgers and group 3 had dinner with their professor. We're enjoying our time in Germany very much!
