Home at last (for most of us)

Several of us got up at 2am (did we sleep at all?) on January 30 to catch a 2:49am bus to the Arlanda airport. Others had a more leisurely start to their day, and some stayed in Europe to vacation with their parents (Kaisa and Grace) or buy more Swiss chocolate (Collin). A big group from Budapest met us in Amsterdam and were on the same flight to Minneapolis. Ande brought some bad luggage luck to St. Olaf--her bag plus 6 from the Budapest group stayed in Amsterdam for another day. Luckily all of the bags were delivered on Saturday so laundry could begin. It's good to be home. There is so much more light in Minnesota than in Sweden! Blue sky and sunshine until well past 3pm! Being in Europe--with easy access to croissants and  J-term was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better group of students. They were interesting, fun, and didn't get into any trouble (none that I found out about anyway!).  --Jill
